UniFusion incorporates heat and pressure to fuse the top surface of the anti-fatigue rug to the foam base material creating a virtually unbreakable bond. This uniquely fervent bond eliminates any possibility of de-lamination, a common problem associated with laminated commercial anti fatigue matting. "UniFusion really raises the bar for quality and allows us to do what we do best, develop quality products, and stand behind them," states Vince DePhillips, President of Superior Manufacturing. De-lamination occurs when the surface or “top” of an anti-fatigue mat becomes separated from the cushioning foam or “base”. This can cause the top to buckle, or the edges to curl which often causes a dangerous trip hazard. By eliminating the possibility of de-lamination, these commercial floor mats create a safer work environment, and reduced costs associated with injury claims. All standard NoTrax laminated foam padded mats, including the full 1" thick Grande series, are manufactured with the UniFusion process. These products provide excellent padded foot fatigue relief along with easy to clean top surfaces.
