Kicking coaches Craig Hentrich, Mike Hollis, Michael Husted and Chris Shaw said they saw great value and success for the high school kicking specialists who attended the National Camp Series (NCS) Super Camp VI in Orlando, Florida last weekend.

National Camp Series 'All Region Trophy'

This year's NCS Super Camp was incredible! The talent was off the charts,” says Hollis. “All the kids were great to work with, and the new All Region Competition and the KIX Rating system added new and exciting dimensions to this camp!

Kicking coaches from around the country, including former NFL players say they found great success and value for the over 120 high school kicking specialists who attended the National Camp Series Super Camp VI in Orlando, Florida on February 18-19, 2012.

Michael Husted, a former nine year NFL kicker and the person responsible for creating the National Camp Series and the NCS Super Camp says this was the best NCS Super Camp yet.

“Without question, Super Camp VI had the strongest talent I have seen over the years,” says Husted. “Every year this camp gets stronger both in terms of high school kickers and the coaches who are coaching them.”

Former NFL punter Craig Hentrich, who now runs Legacy Kicking in Tennessee, agrees with Husted and applauds him for his vision in bringing so many talented kicking coaches together to help young kicking specialists.

“By bringing together the top coaches in the country for quality instruction, Michael Husted and NCS have provided young athletes with the necessary tools and knowledge to become the best kickers, punters or snappers they can be, says Hentrich. “The instruction, along with the intense competition, made Super Camp VI a place for these young men to not only improve their techniques and display their talents, but also to learn how to deal with the pressures of the position.”

Former NFL kicker Mike Hollis, who runs ProForm Kicking Academy in Jacksonville, Florida, says the talent was ‘off the charts’ at this year’s NCS Super Camp.

"This year's NCS Super Camp was incredible! The talent was off the charts,” says Hollis. “All the kids were great to work with, and the new All Region Competition and the KIX Rating system added new and exciting dimensions to this camp! There's nothing else like the NCS Super Camps!"

Chris Shaw, who holds seven punting records at University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and now runs KICKNATION out of Allen, Texas, agrees with Hollis and Hentrich about the quality of the kickers and coaches attending Super Camp VI. Shaw says the National Camp Series is ‘pointing the way’ to a successful future for these young kickers.

“The National Camp Series VI was encapsulated by what might have been the nation’s top collective group of kicking, punting and snapping coaches in the country,” says Shaw. “It was a high power performance camp that put together some of the top eligible kickers, punters and snappers of 2012-17.”

Shaw continues, "The National Camp Series created a platform for coaches like us to be part of something special. There are several competition camps across the country with one focus, "competition" however there is only ONE National Camp Series where we are able to teach, train and mentor all the young men for two days and they leave with an intrinsic and tangible goal!"
