GOooh Florida empowers citizens in the candidate selection process in Florida.

After successfully selecting congressional candidates in several districts in Texas, GOOOH is focusing on Florida, and begins their candidate selection sessions in Florida on March 1st. GOOOH FL, part of the national, non-partisan effort to replace the career politicians in the U.S. House of Representatives, is encouraging Florida voters to support Congressional Candidates’ efforts to get on the ballot.

“We encourage all of the US House candidates to connect with GOooh, FL and to complete the 25 question candidate survey, to commit publicly to term limits and to commit to participate in their local Candidate Selection Nominating session,” said spokesperson Keith Flaugh, “most importantly, we strongly encourage the public to support the candidates by downloading their candidates petitions, signing them and then sending them to the candidate.”

GOooh members are searching for accomplished leaders to serve the people of their district instead of the politicians who serve a political party and their own political career. The peer-selected candidates will compete within the two-party system, challenging incumbents in the primaries.

Candidates must complete the 25-question questionnaire and agree to participate during the first week of March in a Candidate Selection Nomination Convention in their respective Congressional Districts. To have the opportunity to participate in the GOooh process, the candidates must also agree to term limit themselves via an open commitment letter to their constituents.

Candidates must participate in their respective nominating/selection sessions and be selected by the participating, grassroots Citizens of their Congressional District in order to receive the GOooh endorsement. It is up to the Citizens in that district to choose the best statesman. GOooh supports open competition in the primary instead of the traditional controlled, rigged party process that is in place today.

Citizens are encouraged to print out the Individual Qualification Petition, complete it and mail it to the address given, for all the listed candidates.

Mission
GOOOH stands for 'Get Out of Our House' and is pronounced like the word 'go'. It is a NON-PARTISAN plan to place citizen representatives on the ballot in 2012, ideally in the primary against the incumbent, competing for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. The members of each district will have an honest opportunity to replace the career politicians who have taken over OUR House and are destroying our nation.
