Northern Worx KPO, a prime outsourcing company based in Cebu, Philippines sets its Northern Cares, a medical charity donation program that alleviates the acute medical conditions of suffering patients and help the family recover thru family counseling, medical education, and resource identification.
Now on its second year, the Charitable work program instituted by the Northern Group Work Holdings Inc. supports indigent patients identified at local hospitals either Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) or Cebu CityMedical center (CCMC).
Qualified patients are given medical assistance either in the form of medicines and/or minor medical equipment used in the treatment process.

Northern Groupwork Holdings, which is composed of diversified business services such as: Holister Inc, a food and beverage company, Kit Properties Inc., real estate development corporation, Luminance, energy and lighting solutions, and Northern Worx KPO as well as a business process outsourcing (BPO) firm.
A Northern Worx representative eyes candidates either in Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) or Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) for case identification. A thorough evaluation is conducted with the extensive family background in line to family medical history, the individual or occupation of parents and siblings as well as financial capacity and resources.
Cases can either be surgical or medical-pedia in nature, patients should reside in Cebu City, Talisay City, and Mandaue City with the meager financial resources. Caindec cited that the recipient should have the eagerness for either livelihood, counseling and medical education.
“The idea here is mainly to transcend goodness, to share the deed, pay it forward. “ Caindec said. “We provide counseling and medical education to the patient. We also help identify other resources the patient can use to further promote health and well being. Such resources including livelihood program by cooperatives, or employment in farming and manufacturing industries just to name a few.”
The charitable work program of the Northern Group Work Holding Inc. started on July 5, 2010.
