NextLabs®, Inc., the leading provider of Information Risk Management software, announced that they will demonstrate an integrated data security solution that protects critical Intellectual Property (IP) across its lifecycle this week at the RSA Conference Expo in San Francisco as part of the OASIS XACML Standard Showcase (Booth 129). Based on the XACML 3.0 Intellectual Property Control (IPC) Profile, the NextLabs solution demonstrates how industry standards can be applied to unify information controls for Data Classification, Access Control, Rights Management, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) with a single set of policies.
“Industry standards, such as XACML, are critical for enterprises who need to protect their high-value intellectual property as it is managed, used, and shared with employees, partners, and customers.” said Andy Han, VP of Products and Marketing at NextLabs “Without standards-based solutions, organizations are forced to implement proprietary products from different vendors that don’t work together and multiply management costs. This results in security silos that frustrate users and do little to protect critical information.”
The NextLabs IPC solution demonstration the use of the XACML standard for:
- User-driven and content-aware data classification
- Access control to data across File Servers, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and enterprise content management (ECM).
- Protection of data on the move using Rights Management
- Prevention of data loss using DLP.
RSA conference participants are encouraged to visit the OASIS XACML Showcase (Booth 129) to get a hands-on demonstration.
