In the midst of the Company’s most successful year to date, the AAF – Houston 50th Annual ADDY Award Show recognized Oak Interactive with the prestigious – Best of Show – Award.

Just to receive a handful of awards is a treat, but 17 is an honor.

In the midst of the Company’s most successful year to date, the AAF – Houston 50th Oak Interactive Annual ADDY Award Show recognized with the prestigious – Best of Show – Award.

It was on February 25, 2012 when the Company received recognition as – Best of Show – for their Spanish language print ad, “In Texas the Best Gifts Don’t Come Wrapped in Paper.” The ad was developed for Texas Tamale, a Houston based tamales company. The AAF – Houston ADDY Award Show represents creative from the entire Houston area.

“We are ecstatic about the win,” Oak Interactive VP, Account Services David Malamud said, “It’s a testament to our teams dedication and creative ability.”

The Houston based Advertising Company also received recognition with a Special Judges Award for a Hoilday eCard they created, which was a tongue-in-cheek self promo video that ran during the Christmas season. The video consisted of the team’s office dogs making crafts with human hands.

“We wanted to create something funny that tied into our office culture,” Oak Interactive Creative Director Jeff Long said, “We never thought we would receive a Special Award for it.”

The Company walked away with a total of 17 Awards. This included a Gold ADDY for a website created for Pinks Pizza, a local Pizza chain. A Gold for the same Texas Tamale print ad. A Silver for a Harvest Micro site, created to support Messina Hof Winery & Resort’s annual Harvest Festival, a Bryan, Texas based Company. A Silver for an interactive project for Karrus Force Protection and a logo design for BB’s Honey, an Alabama based honey company.

“Just to receive a handful of awards is a treat, but 17 is an honor,” Oak Interactive Founder & CEO Moses Robles said, “Our team worked really hard this year. It’s good to see the fruit from our labors.”

Creative Director Jeff Long accepted the awards along with Founder & CEO Moses Robles, VP, Account Services David Malamud, Account Executive Dominic Dames, Ad Operations Manager Gabriela Campos, Search Marketing Specialist Griffin Long and newly added Creative Intern Daniel Szymanowski.
