2011 was a year of major upgrades in warehousing and material handling operations at FW Warehousing, a midwest leader in warehousing and distribution based in St. Louis with facilities in three states. The firm undertook an intense RFP to study and analyze its forklift fleet. The goal was to “Right-Size” the fleet, standardize specifications, and achieve the most efficient warehousing operation for its customers.
“A number of forklift companies were invited to conduct detailed surveys and offer recommendations to improve our operations,” said Bob Klunk, Director of Operations for FW. “In the final analysis, we chose Forklifts of St Louis / Toyota Material Handling as our Strategic Partner. The ROI we achieved in efficiency, service, quality, and safety, made Forklifts of St Louis and Toyota the clear choice. With more than 30% of our fleet now upgraded to the most efficient forklift equipment in the industry, we have taken our customer service to a new level – for all aspects of our warehousing and distribution business.”
