India's challenges demand the kind of innovative and creative solutions that we have developed for the U.S. market, and we are excited about building a team to focus on India and other global markets.
Boston, MA (PRWEB) February 28, 2012
Six Red Marbles, the award-winning learning company and development house, announces the opening of its first international office in Delhi, India. The Delhi office will expand and augment the capabilities Six Red Marbles provides through its five other offices in Boston, Austin, Baltimore, Chicago, and New York City.
“India has been facing growing demand for education well before it instituted free, compulsory education in April of 2010,” says Jacques Driscoll, CEO of Six Red Marbles. “Their challenges demand the kind of innovative and creative solutions that we have developed for the U.S. market, and we are excited about building a team to focus on India and other global markets.”
Six Red Marbles’ learning program development philosophy is grounded in vibrantly creative approaches to engaging learners through fun, experimentation, positive emotion, stories, and a real world connection.
“This is a natural expansion for Six Red Marbles, given our passion to help people learn, and India’s necessity to do so,” continued Driscoll. “While this move will expand our development capabilities and provide a platform for global development projects, I’m equally excited about discovering innovative approaches overseas that can be imported and adapted to help America tackle its persistent education issues.”
The Delhi office will be led by Gayatri Singh, an India-based executive who brings 20 years of experience in education and technology. In 2000, she co-founded Q2AMedia, a leading international company focused on designing education programs for today’s tech savvy kids. Singh recently established EdPower21, an educational consulting company that works with large publishers to build their K-12 print and digital strategies for India.
“I’m very excited to be part of the Six Red Marbles team,” says Singh. “Education programs can derive great benefit through the sharing of ideas and experiences across countries. India cannot be ignored in this space both as a development center as well as a market.”
