Sponsors sought for second annual new media and brand expo, to be held May 25 - 27 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World (r) resort.

SheCon (http://sheconexpo.com) is hosting its second annual new media and brand expo May 25 – 27 at Disney’s Coronado Springs at the Walt Disney World ® Resort. The three-day expo will be offering a balance of education, entertainment and business networking opportunities for influential female bloggers and social media experts as well as brands that are interested in reaching new media professionals.

“SheCon offers sponsors an opportunity to integrate their brands and brand experiences in a logical, seamless way – whether the sponsor is interested in participating in demos on our expo floor or sponsoring a branded cocktail mixer,” notes SheCon chair Julie Wohlberg.

More than 500 women are expected to attend the second annual expo, which has attracted some of the most influential women in social media as presenters, including:

  •     Aliza Sherman: Aliza is a Web pioneer, international keynote speaker, and author of nine books. In 1995, Aliza founded the first woman-owned, full-service Internet company, Cybergrrl, Inc., and the first global Internet networking group for women – Webgrrls International. Newsweek named her one of the “Top 50 People Who Matter Most on the Internet,” and Fast Company named her one of the “Most Powerful Women in Technology.”
  •     Lela Davidson: Lela has built a career on everyday humor and candid observations. Lela is an essayist (Blacklisted from the PTA, 2011), a journalist (the TODAY Show Moms blog), and a columnist for Brooke Burke’s Modern Mom. She serves as Associate Editor of Peekaboo magazine.
  •     Trina Schwimmer: Trina is a recognized expert on women in gaming and technology fields, as well as the founder of GamingAngels.com. In 2010, Trina was voted one of Fast Company’s “Top Women In Games.”

SheCon’s current 2012 sponsor list ranges from national brands, including Victoria’s Secret Beauty, to Web services brands like TimeDog.com. Sponsorship packages start at $1500, and range from product sampling opportunities through diamond sponsorship with event co-branding.
