The Tunica Convention and Visitors Bureau recently launched an innovative and interactive way to inform visitors on the variety of things to see and do in The South’s Casino Capital of Tunica, Mississippi. Called Tunica TV and found at tunicatravel.tv, this new site hosts dozens of videos that bring the Tunica experience to life for viewers around the world. From useful tips on how to be a high roller to behind-the-scenes interviews with Tunica’s big-name entertainers, Tunica TV gives viewers exclusive access to the attractions, entertainment, shopping, dining and, of course, gaming that make Tunica one of the America’s leading gaming destinations.
“One of the reasons that Tunica is one of the country’s hottest destinations is that we offer so much more than gaming,” said Webster Franklin, CEO of the Tunica Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We combine world-class facilities and attractions with an authentic, down-home feel that is uniquely Tunica, and Tunica TV enables us to use the power of video to bring our one-of-a-kind environment to life in a way that visitors can really connect with.”
Videos will be added to Tunica TV over the course of the year, with more than 100 different videos eventually posted to tell the Tunica story. The site will house a number of professionally shot videos hosted by our series host, Drew. From celebrities such as Paula Deen to the colorful locals that make Tunica so unique, Drew gets the inside scoop on all things Tunica. He’ll bring viewers on a tour of Tunica’s historic blues trail markers, take them into the action at the World Series of Poker and introduce them to the mouth-watering fare at Tunica’s famous restaurants. Tunica TV will also host organic videos submitted by certain frequent Tunica visitors, giving viewers a first-hand look at the destination from a visitor’s perspective.
