Keystone Resort, Colorado will host its annual Winter Culinary Festival this coming weekend from Friday, March 2nd to Sunday, March 4th. Demonstrations, classes, and samplings will be available throughout Keystone during the festival. Visitors to the resort will indulge in wine samplings from around the world while sampling fine cuisine.
The Grand Tasting can be accessed from the gondola, and will take place from 5:30-9pm on Saturday, March 3rd at Keystone's North Peak restaurants, Der Fondue Chessel and Alpenglow Stube. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of champagne and can try samples of food paired with various champagne and wines. Unique pastries will also be available. The cost for the Grand Tasting will be $125 per person.
Other events that guests can look forward to include chef demos, a culinary trends cooking class, whiskey, wine and beer tastings, and ice carving demo, wellness seminars, and a children's cooking class. Some courses are free, while others carry a $20 cost.
Guests can cap the weekend with a Champagne Brunch at 11,444 feet at the Alpenglow Stube. This award winning on-mountain restaurant will exchange your boots for warm, fuzzy slippers. The menu will include a Mimosa, your choice of soup, selection of entree and an array of desserts. This ski in/ski out restaurant AAA four Diamond rated.
