Many ISVs are facing the question of whether they should move their traditional on-premise products to the cloud, and if so, how?

Eileen Boerger, president of CorSource Technology Group and its Agilis Solutions business unit, will present “ISV Path to the Cloud: Moving Your Product from On-Premise to On-Demand,” at SaaS University, to be held Feb. 28-Mar. 1, 2012 in Austin, TX. SaaS University is the software industry’s most comprehensive software as a system (SaaS) and Cloud applications conference, and will be held at the Austin Marriott South.

“Many independent software vendors (ISVs) are facing the question of whether they should move their traditional on-premise products to the Cloud, and if so, how can that be done,” says Boerger. “My presentation will address the key planning, architectural, design, and implementation considerations for moving an on-premise product to the cloud.”

Boerger’s presentation will be held Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. and will cover:

  • Key factors in moving to an on-demand product
  • Why agile development works in developing on-demand products
  • Key steps to move to an on-demand product
  • Key lessons learned, including a case study that shows how a company followed an evolutionary approach to move from their current on-premise product to a new on-demand product.

Boerger has overall business and operational responsibility for CorSource Technology Group and provides a thought-leadership role for the company, including definition and delivery of the company’s software development services and technical IT and software staffing services.
