Bellevue, Wash. (PRWEB) February 29, 2012
Operating Rules establish new administrative transaction requirements for improving the utility of the existing HIPAA transactions and reducing administrative costs. This transition requires a combination of administrative and financial standards and the re-tooling of systems, processes and people. And all HIPAA-covered entities must comply.
Edifecs, a compliance solution provider and CORE testing partner, is hosting a complimentary webinar to assist health plans in their HIPAA readiness. John McCandlish, principal of healthcare solutions at Edifecs, will discuss the opportunity for operational efficiency gains within this mandate – including studies on performance improvement.
WHEN: Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 10:00 AM PST / 1:00 PM EST.
WHAT: A webinar demonstrating best practices health plans can use to assess the impact, prepare for and execute a complete Operating Rules strategy. Specifically, attendees will learn:
- How to identify systems and departments needing remediation in the organization’s Operating Rules compliance planning
- How to use technology and tools for achieving Operating Rules compliance while gaining operational and financial efficiencies, including ROI
- Why healthcare organizations need to plan today to avoid penalties for non-compliance and to avoid costly in-house build scenarios
