One Stop Voice has announced a new partner program geared towards IT professionals, value-added resellers (VARs), and telecom brokers.

With the upcoming Channel Partners conference at the end of March in Las Vegas, company executives hope the new partner program will help drive the next phase of IT transformation. They expect the new partner program to account for roughly 85% of its revenue by 2015.

With the continued growth of cloud based product offerings in the market, partners are seeing a sense of urgency to start offering cloud managed services. Hosted VoIP offers a simple approach to communications for the SMB market. In fact, many IT firms are now leading in with managed services, such as VoIP, to provide an immediate cost reduction and improved functionality gaining instant rapport with new prospective clients. “We see our partner program as being one of the most important channels we can develop over the next three years,” said Joshua Simon, an executive of One Stop Voice. As part of the new partner program, One Stop Voice is providing additional resources for sales and training to its partners. “Cloud based technology like hosted VoIP is just entering the mainstream and we need to educate our partners on the product and how to best serve potential customers,” added Simon. It is estimated that just 33% of small to medium businesses are utilizing a form of VoIP which represents an enormous opportunity for the partners.
