Authentic Irish Pub in Chinatown Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with a Trip Giveaway for 2 to Ireland

Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant in Washington, D.C, an authentic Irish pub located on 808 7th Street, NW will proudly begin celebrating St. Patrick’s Day long before March 17 with events like Whiskey Tastings, an Irish Themed Pub Quiz and the St. Baldrick’s Charity Event. This year, guests will be hoping to inherit some of that infamous Irish luck, as the newest addition to the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration features a chance to win an all-expenses paid vacation for two to Ireland. The winner will receive flights, hotel and a tour of the Guinness Brewery at St. James Gate in Dublin. All you have to do to enter the contest is sign up for the Fadó email list, and the winner will be announced on March 30.

Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant (Fadó) located on 808 7th Street, NW in Chinatown take on a marathon theme this year - ‘Paddython’. Doors open on St. Patrick’s Day at 7:00am complete with proper pints, themed sweatbands and festive T-Shirts for ‘Paddython’ participants. Just as a marathon would suggest, ‘proper hydration is key’ when pacing yourself for an all-day extravaganza of the best mix of Irish music, food and entertainment. Bringing new meaning to Super Saturday, Fadó will also feature live 6 Nations Rugby with Ireland taking on England in the Final match of the day and entire tournament.

Fadó presents: Paddython, an all-day event dedicated to live music and an authentically Irish party. The St. Patrick’s Day party begins at 7.00m with Super Saturday 6 Nations Rugby and the party ramps up at 2pm with a special performance by local Irish Dancers and live music starts with 40 Thieves and Lloyd Dobbler Effect!

$10 cover starts at 8am. Must be 21+ to attend the festivities.
