Oregon-based I.T. training company offers employee bonus for Feb. 29

February 29 appears on calendars only once every four years, and to mark the rare occasion, CBT Nuggets will be dividing the day’s revenue among its 31 employees.

“We felt this was a great way to show our appreciation for our employees,” said Dan Charbonneau, founder and CEO of CBT Nuggets. “We want to thank them for the work they do not just on Leap Day, but every day of the year.”

For the 24-hour period beginning at midnight, Feb. 29, all revenue generated by the company will be split equally among the employees.

This is the first time the Eugene-based company, which makes computer-based I.T. training, has offered the incentive.

“We like to be a little different and fun, like Leap Day,” Charbonneau said.
