Tigin Irish Pub in Stamford will begin celebrating St. Patrick’s Day long before March 17 with events like a Parade Day celebration, an Irish Themed Pub Quiz and the St Baldrick’s Charity Event. This year, guests will be hoping to inherit some of that infamous Irish luck, as the newest addition to the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration features a chance to win an all-expenses paid vacation for two to Ireland. The winner will receive flights, hotel and a tour of the Guinness Brewery at St. James Gate in Dublin. All you have to do to enter the contest is sign up for the Tigín email list, and the winner will be announced on March 30.

Tigín Irish Pub & Restaurant (Tigín), located on Bedford Street in Stamford will take on a marathon theme this year – “Paddython.” Doors open on St. Patrick’s Day at 8am complete with kegs and eggs and festive T-Shirts for ‘Paddython’ participants. Just as a marathon would suggest, ‘proper hydration is key’ when pacing yourself for an all-day extravaganza of the best mix of Irish music, food and entertainment. Bringing new meaning to Super Saturday, Tigín will also feature live 6 Nations Rugby including the Ireland v England match up as the Final match of the tournament.

Saturday, March 17
Tigín presents: Paddython, an all-day event dedicated to live music and an authentically Irish party. Doors open to the biggest St Patrick’s Day party in Stamford at 8am with Kegs and Eggs, 6 Nations Rugby and a Trip to Ireland giveaway! Festivities include live music from KC and Anne, Bliss and Cray and Dempsey.

$10 cover starts at 8am.

Tent opens at 2pm with Irish dancers and live music from Irish Band, Cahill Acoustic Band and RATTLE AND HUM.

Sunday, 3/11
5th Annual St Baldrick’s Charity Event at 12pm
Shave your head, volunteer or donate towards the goal. It’s great craic for a great cause.

Tuesday, 3/13
Paddy's Day Pub Quiz at 8pm.
Test your knowledge of all things Irish. Great prizes up for grabs, including passes to our St Patrick’s Day bash!
