CableFAX has announced the finalists for its “Best of the Web” awards program -- saluting outstanding online success in categories ranging from best overall web site and top mobile application, to best social networking site. This must-attend industry event will highlight the best and brightest execs from the world of cable, online video, and technology involved in the digital media revolution.

A special TV Everywhere Leadership Award will be presented to Turner and Comcast, recognizing leadership around consumer marketing, partner outreach and innovative products related to the industry’s authentication efforts. “Both Turner and Comcast have been considerably out front on TV Everywhere, and we’re proud to recognize their leadership status,” said CableFAX Executive Editor Michael Grebb. “In the early days of authentication, these companies took bold steps to fashion workable TV Everywhere arrangements that continue to influence TV Everywhere rollouts industry wide.”
Also announced are this year's winners of the CableFAX “Digital Hot List”— recognizing professionals driving innovation and progress in social media, digital distribution, app development, web content, technology strategy, TV Everywhere/authentication and other cutting-edge multi-platform projects.
