Erik Stolhanske breaks his silence about being an amputee. He speaks about the needs and rights of people with disabilities, as well as celebrates their various contributions to communities and society as a whole.
Stolhanske, or Rabbit, from the well known comedy classic Super Troopers, has lived a remarkable life in spite of having a disability, an artificial leg. Currently, Stolhanske is booking talks around the country to inspire those who have a “handicap” themselves or have a family member or friend with a problem –physically or mentally. According to Stolhanske, everyone has a wooden leg.
Through his inspiring presentations, Stolhanske has been helping people realize they are capable of achieving their goals despite perceived limitations. In his talks, he refers to “foolish perseverance”-- telling a passionate and often hilarious story of overcoming obstacles even if it seems as if "the odds are stacked against you."
