The Artisan Group Gifts Celebrities at a Luxury Gift Lounge Honoring the Nominees and Presenters of the 84th Annual Academy Awards on February 24-25, 2012 in Hollywood

Attending celebrities received a charming collection of handcrafted gifts valued at over $1,300.

The Artisan Group, an elite collective of nearly 800 small-business entrepreneurs, was recently a sponsor at GBK's Luxury Gift Lounge honoring the 84th Annual Academy Awards Nominees and Presenters on February 24-25, 2012 at The W Hotel in Hollywood, California.

Attending celebrities received an exclusive swag bag containing a collection of handcrafted jewelry, spa and bath products, fine art photography, journals, hand-poured candles, designer stationery, and other accoutrements valued at over $1,300. Members of the press and media also received an assortment of handcrafted products.

Many Oscar nominees and presenters attended the event including Oscar winners Nat Faxon and Jim Rash (“The Descendants”) Melissa McCarthy (Best Supporting Actress nominee, “Bridesmaids”), Max von Sydow (Best Supporting Actor nominee, “Incredibly Loud and Extremely Close”), Siedah Garrett (Best Original Song nominee, “Rio”), and Wendi McLendon-Covey (Oscar Presenter, “Bridesmaids”). Other notable celebrities included Ken Davitian (“The Artist”), Dermot Mulroney (“The Grey”), Marcia Gay Harden (“Damages”), Penelope Ann Miller (“The Artist”), Sugar Ray Leonard, Kevin Nealon, Penny Marshall, Cloris Leachman, Teri Polo, Colin Egglesfield, and Hector Elizondo, among others.

The Artisan Group also gifted many worthy charities at the event: {The Worldteam Foundation} - founded in 2006 to combat human trafficking; {HollyRod Foundation} - dedicated to providing compassionate care to those living with autism and Parkinson’s disease; {Drawing for Hope} - uses art to join thousands of sexual assault survivors from every state in the U.S. and 150 other countries into a healing community, and lastly; {The Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation} - whose mission is to raise funds for research and awareness towards a cure for Juvenile Diabetes.
