Beauty and perfection seems to be the buzzword in today´s world. If a person is beautiful, the whole world is open to him or her. Children learn this at an early age and imperfection is often frowned upon. In author Tee J. Mueller’s Bubu Bear´s First Day of School, readers will find an inspiring story that explores the world of imperfection.
“Children can be cruel.” Everyone hears this phrase many times and there is a world of truth in that one phrase. In this first book to look into the world of imperfection, readers will follow Bubu Bear, Gemma and Mitchi, young bear friends who were all born with imperfections and find it hard to fit into their world. But together they find the strength needed to face the world and learn to deal with their imperfections. Mueller creatively brings together a beautiful fable and a wonderful life lesson that will positively change children’s perception about beauty and perfection. This book takes readers into a magical world of make-believe with a very real message aimed at the young readers.
A heartwarming tale that will capture the hearts and imagination of young readers and will make them think before they act thoughtlessly, Bubu Bear´s First Day of School is a perfect instrument to boost children’s confidence and self-esteem despite whatever imperfection they have.

About the Author
Tee J. Mueller started writing when she was 15 years old but the inspiration for her stories began much earlier and was influenced by her surroundings. On her many walks through the woods close to her home, she began to imagine a magical place filled with tall trees, sun-dazzled streams, ferns as huge as giant´s nests, ponds filled with beautiful coloured fish and mushrooms in various shapes and sizes. Through her jaunts in the woods emerged a world of make-believe and imagination - a wonderful world of fairies, elves and little people and she gradually wove all this together to create stories in her mind.
At the age of 16, Mueller published her first story in a well-known women´s magazine. The story made cover page. She later had a selection of her short stories published in other magazines and wrote some newspaper articles. At aged 18, she enrolled in university and her stories had to take a back seat while she pursued her academic career but even then she was slowly creating and perfecting the magical world of her childhood. Now, years down the road she finds herself face to face again with her first love, writing. Her imagination takes her back to the woods of her beloved childhood where it all began and where her creative energy had free rein. This story emerged out of that world of imagination and make-believe.
