The year 2012 has just begun, and along with it come the numerous prophecies and Mayan doomsday calendar predictions pointing to the end of the world. In her new book Awakening (published by WestBow Press), Eunace Creed weaves scripture throughout a unique and thrilling story sure to help readers reflect on the biblical end-of-days prophecies.

Set in New York City, Awakening tells the story of Chuck, one of the 144,000 Jews prophesied to be saved during the Rapture. Readers will follow Chuck through a myriad of flashbacks, journal entries, and daily life as he struggles to find his son and save those he loves before the final months of the Tribulation draw to a close.

“Awakening is meant to prompt readers to reflect on two things,” Creed explains. “The world will become far more savage before the end, and that God’s desire to save mankind will burn as long as there is even one soul left remaining to save.”

Readers will watch Chuck’s faith come alive as he faces immense tragedy before receiving the greatest reward of all.

“This book is ultimately about the Lord and helping them to understand and accept His love for them while we still have time.”
