The law firm of Howard, Brenner & Nass continues to be the leader in Pennsylvania in fighting for the rights of asbestos victims.
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) March 06, 2012
On February 21, 2012, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that an asbestos victim should be permitted to file a second lawsuit for a second asbestos-related cancer. Before Howard, Brenner & Nass took on this fight, the law in Pennsylvania was that an asbestos victim could only file one lawsuit for a non-cancerous asbestos condition, and one lawsuit for an asbestos-related cancer.
The Pennsylvania Mesothelioma Attorneys of Howard, Brenner and Nass successfully argued to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court that if an asbestos victim tragically contracts two different asbestos-related cancers, then that asbestos victim should be entitled to file a second lawsuit for the second cancer, and that asbestos victims should be permitted to obtain compensation for that second cancer. [Supreme Court Docket Number 27 EAP 201.]
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court agreed with the law firm of Howard, Brenner & Nass, and now the law in Pennsylvania is that an asbestos victim should be permitted to file a second claim for a second asbestos-related cancer.
