Modern Design Store,, Donates Society Girl Tea Time Wearable Art Ensemble for A+D Museum Fundraiser

The A+D Museum in Los Angeles invited Su Sazama and Fitz of along with other artists, architects, and designers to design a wearable art piece for their Celebrate benefit auction to be held March 10, 2012. Su and Fitz's muse, the modernist superhero Society Girl, inspired the Fitzsu ensemble incorporating the modern home accessories they sell in their on line design store.

RSS owners, Su Sazama and Fitz, designed and donated a wearable art ensemble evoking a modern superhero named Society Girl to the A+D Museum in Los Angeles for their Celebrate benefit auction being held at the museum on March 10, 2012.

"Fitzsu’s Society Girl is the playful voice of modern entertaining and etiquette. She inspired us to create a wearable art ensemble that focuses on a single occasion, tea time, which represents many of the types of products Fitzsu sells," explains Fitz. Although tea time is a societal ritual that requires a certain amount of decorum, it is meant to be fully enjoyed.

Playing on the words Tea Time, Society Girl’s ensemble includes a modern dinnerware teacup and saucer watch, tea spoon necklace from a variety of stainless steel flatware designers and Michael Graves kettle helmet. View a video of the Fitzsu Society Girl concept here,
