Lydia M. Kordalewski tells the story of Nicholas, a young boy adopted from Bulgaria

According the Bureau of Consulor Affairs, 9,319 adoptions occurred in the United States in 2011. To bring awareness to adoptions, comes Lydia M. Kordalewski’s new book, “The Mom with the Red Lipstick” (published by AuthorHouse) an emotional and moving story told by a little adopted boy named Nicholas and his mom.

In “The Mom with the Red Lipstick,” Nicholas shares the memories of his earlier life in a Bulgarian orphanage with his new mother and his journey home to the United States. In the story, his mom shares her emotions, struggles and unconditional love of a little boy who became her beautiful son on a wonderful spring day in Bulgaria.

He had brooding sad black eyes and a head full of jet-black hair. He ran naked through the forest for two and half years with hardly anything to eat.
