New Deal Keeps Four Westchester County Hospitals in POMCO’s network

“We are very pleased to have reached this new agreement which will provide POMCO Group’s members with continued access to Westchester’s preeminent network of community hospitals and physicians,” said Arthur A. Nizza, President and CEO of Stellaris.

Stellaris Health Network and POMCO Group have announced a new multi-year agreement. POMCO Group’s health plan members will be able to continue receiving covered inpatient and outpatient health care services, at preferred, in-network rates at Lawrence Hospital Center, Northern Westchester Hospital, Phelps Memorial Hospital Center and White Plains Hospital Center, as well as all of the employed hospital- and office-based physicians and health care providers at the Stellaris Hospitals.

Under the new agreement, POMCO Group, one of the nation’s largest third party administrators, will provide performance-based incentives to the Stellaris Network for both quality-of-care and patient satisfaction. Models for rewarding demonstrated quality and outcomes will serve as a framework for POMCO Group’s agreements with other community hospitals and systems.

“We look forward to collaborating with Stellaris to help achieve positive health outcomes for our members who are Stellaris patients. Reaching a new agreement with Stellaris Health that rewards the network hospitals for quality-of-care is a win for POMCO Group clients, Stellaris, and members in Westchester County,” said POMCO Group’s Executive Director of Network Development, Steve O’Brien.

“We are very pleased to have reached this new agreement which will provide POMCO Group’s members with continued access to Westchester’s preeminent network of community hospitals and physicians,” said Arthur A. Nizza, President and CEO of Stellaris. “We are proud to be leading the market in partnering on innovative performance-based and risk-sharing arrangements, and we look forward to our ongoing relationship with POMCO Group and its clients.”
