Giecek has extensive experience in the energy arena. With Invenergy, Giecek managed the development of wind assets in several states, including his native state of Virginia. He was directly responsible for site selection, landowner relations, transmission interconnection, permitting, legislative and regulatory initiatives, government relations, and media relations in these markets. Prior to working with Invenergy, Giecek was the Director of the Virginia Wind Energy Collaborative at James Madison University. He is experienced in the natural gas field, having worked in the General Counsel’s office at the Washington Gas Light Company.
