Eugene-based company debuts at No. 22 on list

CBT Nuggets, a Eugene company that makes I.T. training videos, has been honored as one of the 100 best companies to work for in Oregon.

The company was selected as the 22nd best small company in the state. The 100 Best list, compiled annually by Oregon Business magazine, recognizes companies for excellence in work environment, management and communications, decision-making and trust, career development and learning, and benefits and compensation.

“It’s very important to us to take care of our employees, and it’s an honor to be recognized for that,” said Dan Charbonneau, CEO of CBT Nuggets. “We’ve been committed to our employees since day one, and we will continue to be in the future.”

The final rankings were announced at an awards ceremony March 1 in Portland and appear in the March issue of Oregon Business.

Rankings are based on a satisfaction survey completed by employees and a benefits survey completed by management. This year, more than 14,000 Oregon employees from 263 companies completed the survey.

"The 100 Best project has been identifying great workplaces for almost two decades," said Oregon Business Editor Robin Doussard. "It is truly one of the most meaningful awards a company can receive because it is the employees who decide those great workplaces."
