As the spring holiday draws closer, package holiday resorts face an influx of families and quiet corners can be few and far between.
Fear no more, because Wimdu.co.uk has found the ideal retreat for couples wanting a little piece and quiet. Quite literally a spring nesting place, a tent for two nestled amongst the trees in Northern France costs just £42 per night per couple.
The accommodation offers a quirky, nature-friendly Spring getaway, allowing couples to spend a night in total immersion in the forest. The only separation between you and the stars is a canopy.
The tent is located in the protected forest area of Dihan center LPO (League for the Protection of Birds), offering prime viewing for nature lovers and bird watchers. The tent compromises a comfortable bed in a transparent sphere offering light as well as privacy. Dry toilets are available on the ground, but a conventional toilet and bathroom can be accessed in a nearby farmhouse for the less adventurous Spring chicken.
Breakfast in bed is offered at an extra charge but sleeping bags and towels are the responsibility of the well prepared guest.
