Mudlick Mail CEO Greg Sands and President Tim Ross will share their insight with automotive repair shop owners at the 2012 VISION Hi-Tech Training and Expo. One of the automotive service industry’s leading events, the conference will be held from March 8-11, 2012 in Kansas City.

Sands and Ross will be teaching the seminar, “How to be a Million Dollar Shop,” from 8 a.m. to noon. on March 9th. The duo will offer marketing guidance and tips on customer service, sales techniques and other success strategies to help shop owners reach the million-dollar mark in sales. Some of Mudlick Mail’s customers have increased their sales by as much as 40 percent using the company’s unique direct mail campaigns.

“So many shop owners aspire to that next level, but they don’t understand the steps they need to take to attract new customers and increase their car count,” said Sands.

Mudlick Mail’s direct mail programs allow shop owners to target customers by income, neighborhood and even vehicle make. Mudiick Mail’s campaigns are turn-key and include graphic design services, printing, listing services, postage and delivery for one flat fee.

An industry veteran, Sands owns and operates more than 26 shops in four states under the Service Street, America’s Service Station and Driver’s Auto Repair banners. He launched Mudlick Mail in 2008, after searching for years for the right advertising vehicle for his repair shops. Direct mail was the only method that allowed Sands to accurately reach high-caliber customers within the market area of his stores.

Mudlick Mail sent out more than 35 million pieces of direct mail nationwide in 2011. The company is projecting sales of $20 million in 2012 and expects to distribute 60 million pieces of mail this year.
