“Everyone has a natural curiosity about the world and their role in it,” believes authors Sandeep Kaur and Varsha Venkatakrishna. In their new poetry collection “Between the Lines” (published by Trafford Publishing), they harness that inquisitiveness.

Between the Lines” explores several universal themes: life, love and nature, to name a few. The poems probe these themes, asking questions about fate, destiny and the mysterious complexity of nature.

The authors have an elegant goal with “Between the Lines,” hoping that readers will remember “Life is simple. Take out the day-to-day rushes and pressures from society, and what’s left is brutal, lovely simplicity.” Despite the seeming complexity of their poems, the authors wish simply to remind people how joyous life can be.

“Live, laugh and love,” says Kaur and Venkatakrishna. “Step outside your mundane bubble of humdrum life to see the world from a new perspective. Enjoy yourself. Be free.”
