I feel that this gift continues the spirit of ILA’s dedication and commitment to education and the development of the next generation.

On Tuesday, February 7, 2012, the Foundation for Sight & Sound officially launched its Help America Hear Scholarship.

Today, Mitch Shapiro, President and Founder of the foundation is pleased to announce that Irwin Schneidmill, President of Independent Living Aids has joined forces with him acknowledging the need for and generosity of the scholarship. This connection exemplifies two noble organizations coming together in the name of education.

“I could not be more grateful that Independent Living Aids has signed on to match the two scholarship awards. Two very lucky high school students will be equally grateful when they receive a total of $1,000 towards their future educational plans along with new hearing aids, compliments of Resound,” said Mitch Shapiro.

“I feel that this gift continues the spirit of ILA’s dedication and commitment to education and the development of the next generation,” said Irwin Schneidmill. “It is not only a pleasure to be involved with the foundation, but an obligation as well.”

These two impassioned organizations continue to demonstrate the art of philanthropy time and time again.
