Akira and Diamond Nexus Partner for 2012 Valley of the Castles Fashion Show in Chicago

Akira, a Chicago-based fashion retailer, and Diamond Nexus are hosting the 3rd annual spring fashion show. Custom made jewelry as well as man made diamond simulant jewelry from top online retailer, Diamond Nexus, will be showcased at the event.

Diamond Nexus offers customers the ability to design pieces of jewelry, whether affordable engagement rings or other pieces, based solely upon the imagination of the customer.

The 2012 Akira fashion show and VIP event will be held at Chicago's inspirational Civic Opera House, located at 20 North Wacker Drive. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The Fashion Show begins at 7 p.m.

Valley of the Castles will feature ancestral armor from the Lyric's archives along with clothing from the Akira spring collection. Throughout the evening, attendees can enjoy complimentary custom cocktails and hors d’œuvres from area businesses.

Diamond Nexus is also sponsoring special appearances by Miss Teen USA, Danielle Doty and Miss Illinois USA. Ashley Hooks. The pageant winners will be signing autographs during the event, while wearing their showcasing their personal Diamond Nexus jewelry.

During the show, Diamond Nexus designers will be on-site to demonstrate how the design process works with the Nexus Design Studio, in creating completely custom jewelry. General admission tickets are $30 and VIP tickets are $100 for the event.

Guests are invited to join Diamond Nexus and Akira at their after party, which is being hosted at the N9NE Steakhouse, 440 West Randolph Street. The after party begins at 8:30 p.m.
