While the state of cloud computing is still in flux, 2012 is turning out to be the year during which the cloud computing “hype” turns into reality. Gartner states that by 2015, 46% of all businesses will have more than half of their infrastructure and applications in the cloud, versus only 3% in 2011. IDC predicts that 85% of net-new software firms created this year will be cloud businesses. Cloud computing is changing the way Vendors and Partners do business together, requiring transformational business changes by all channel players.
