We want to make an experience for Android users that is as simple and intuitive as Apple's iOS, but make the experience fun for all types of users.

Cloud music company CloudAround LLC announces the release of its newest version of CloudAround — a slick, interactive cloud music streaming app for Android devices. In version 1.2, users are treated to a beautiful remodeled interface for all Android devices, especially enhanced for tablets. Based on feedback for their already successful app, CloudAround has redesigned the user experience from the ground up for streaming music from Amazon, Dropbox, and Rackspace.

"Our newest release will add many new UI features our users have been asking for since we launched in October of last year. Think of our previous design as a wireframe for what we have delivered this time", says Will Cox, co-founder. "We want to make an experience for Android users that is as simple and intuitive as Apple's iOS, but make the experience fun for all types of users."

In addition to the new intuitive design, CloudAround now boasts an impressive settings section. Settings such as cache limits, display settings, and wifi-only playback are industry standard and have been included. CloudAround’s newest version, however, gives users features like removal of duplicate tracks, HD artist art, and random art displays. It is important to note that in addition to supporting true streaming, CloudAround caches songs and enables users to download them from the cloud onto their Android device.

This is the beginning phase of CloudAround's goal to become the favored choice for interactive cloud music. "As music evolves and more users across the globe are streaming music from the internet, we want to bridge the gap of remote storage while at the same time bringing an interactive experience,” says Nick Fortenberry, co-founder. "Google Music is great, but users have to spend hours, or days, uploading their media. Spotify is also a viable option, but there is no feeling; no personal touch. CloudAround supports metadata sync within minutes to give you the information you want, while never altering your current storage habits."

CloudAround is available on the Android Market for free with ads or a $1.99 ad-free version for Android 2.2+.
