BACnet® International today announced that its participation in AHR Expo, the world’s largest HVACR event for professionals in the building automation and control industry, was a major success. BACnet helped showcase its members to a crowd of more than 58,000 individuals who visited the more than 1,900 vendors at the expo located at Chicago’s McCormick Place that took place from January 23rd through January 25th.
A total of 1,968 exhibitors from 35 countries showcased their products and technologies. In addition to the thousands of new products and technologies exhibited on the show floor, more than 100 educational sessions were offered by ASHRAE and many other leading industry associations. The 2012 AHR Expo is endorsed by the leading HVACR industry associations and is cosponsored by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI).
