These seminars are really about educating couples and empowering them to find the best course of action for their own circumstances.
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) March 08, 2012
Sher Fertility Institute announced that it will be donating free In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatments to two couples at fertility education seminars at Medical City Hospital on Saturday, March 10, 2012.
The Dallas fertility seminar will feature presentations by two prominent fertility doctors: Walid Saleh, MD, Medical Director of the Sher Institute’s Dallas fertility clinic, and Geoffrey Sher, MD, Founder of Sher Fertility Institute. They will address issues including causes of infertility, treatment options, male factor infertility, discounted IVF treatment, and breakthroughs in Reproductive Medicine. In addition, the doctors will answer questions from audience members in a “town hall” format. They will also be available for one-on-one discussions following the seminars.
At the end of each seminar, the name of one attendee will be drawn at random as the winner of the free IVF treatment. The donated treatments are part of the Sher Fertility Institute’s "Giving Back" Program, which has been includes the following initiatives and others:
- Donation of 24 IVF treatment cycles to patients over the past two years (with an approximate value of $10,000 per treatment).
- Free egg freezing for cancer patients through the Fertility Rescue program.
- Discounted fertility treatment for teachers, “First Responders,” limited income couples, and members of the military.
“This seminar is a perfect setting for those who are wondering where to start with diagnosis and treatment, as well as for those who have been at it for a while without success,” said Dr. Saleh. “There will really be something for everyone – especially with our question/answer session afterward.”
Dr. Sher added, “These seminars are really about educating couples and empowering them to find the best course of action for own circumstances. By giving them the right information about fertility, they can make their own choices and take charge of their treatment.”
Those who would like to register for one of the seminars can find information on the Sher Institute website at http://www.haveababy.com.
