We are excited to host our grand opening and let people into our lives, share our stories, and the lives and stories of others as told through their furnishings.
Canoga Park, CA (PRWEB) March 07, 2012
Rebound Furniture and Décor Consignment Store, located in the West Valley, will host its grand opening by opening its doors to interior designers, architects, interested media, and the local community on March 8th, 2012 from 6:30 PM to 9:30PM at 21723 Vanowen Street, Canoga Park, CA 91303.
Jeanne Bulmer, Managing Partner of Rebound Stores LLC, is hosting their grand opening in celebration of their love for furniture and as a symbol of rebounding from breast cancer. Faye Slotnick, Bulmer’s mother and business partner was diagnosed with breast cancer 15 years ago and continues to battle the illness. Nearly one year ago, Bulmer herself was diagnosed with breast cancer but can now claim the title of “strong willed survivor” following surgery and treatment. Their store is a reflection of a mother and daughter partnership, who were inspired to house a unique and eclectic collection of consignment, up-cycled and reupholstered furnishings. It also symbolizes their rebound from breast cancer and using their second chance to express their lifetime dream of venturing into a business of design and décor together.
“We are excited to host our grand opening and let people into our lives, share our stories, and the lives and stories of others as told through their furnishings,” said Bulmer. “It truly is a reflection of our community and the diversity of people from all walks of life with a real history behind each and every piece they bring with them.”
Rebound’s in-house designer, Bill Gibson, will share his insights about furniture designs while attendees peruse the refurbished and refined collection of previously loved furniture. Partygoers will also enjoy food provided by MasterChef runner-up, Adrien Nieto’s catering service, Cruda, who will be serving all-natural and organic fare to guests.
