New HDMI Cable Line Highlighted by Exciting Retail Packaging

NXG Technology, a leader in HDMI technology and home audio, has announced the product launch of three new HDMI cable lines for 2012. The three lines include the top of the line Black Pearl series, mid-level Onyx cables and the more affordable Basix series of HDMI cables. All three lines support or surpass all current HDMI 1.4 standards with transfer rates beyond 10.2 Gbps at resolutions 4x higher than standard 1080p (up to 4K x 2K). Customers can experience stunning colors, 100 Mb/sec Ethernet, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio with NXG premium cables.

Previously available only to custom installers, now all of the new HDMI cables will feature new attractive retail packaging designed by NXG’s in-house graphics team and will be available to the general customer. Nik Hammarberg Senior Product Development Manager at NXG Technology states “Our goal for 2012 was to engineer cables on the cutting-edge of HDMI technology and to help our retailers market the new lines by creating new eye-catching packaging. Overwhelmingly, the responses to our new cables and package designs have been extremely positive.”

NXG’s new cables are available immediately through a network of over 300 custom installation professionals and retailers throughout the USA, as well as authorized internet retailers including radioshack.com & homedepot.com.
