He has in-depth knowledge of both the European and Asian markets. TotelFootball anticipates that there is a huge market opportunity for TotelFootball's football betting products in these regions.
Of the appointment Keith says “There is plenty of innovation in our industry right now and I’m very much looking forward to working with Declan O’Sullivan and the TotelFootball team to generate business internationally for a product combining the best of pool betting & fantasy points scoring. This is truly different from traditional fantasy products in a way I believe will appeal more to the sports bettor.”
TotelFootball operates a betting service which brings the excitement of tote-style pool betting to the already great format of fantasy sports management games.
Like existing games, TotelFootball fantasy managers pick a team of 11 players and 4 subs from clubs in selected Premiership fixtures. The selected players earn points based on their performance in the real-life fixtures. The better the players perform, the more points a team earns and the higher up the league table the fantasy manager's team finishes.
Our game differs from most existing fantasy manager games as follows:
- Unlike other fantasy football games, this is very much a betting service. Each customer must bet money to enter a team into the competition pool. This creates a prize pool, with 80% of the pool paid out as prize money to the top 10% of managers.
- It's a new game each week.
- It's a single pool across all partners. This ensures that managers will be playing for large cash payouts.
- It mixes luck with skill, thereby making for a good betting product.
At present we are focused on European football but we will extend our suite of products over the coming months.
