Hospitality Sales and Marketing Executive Leads Sales Efforts in New York City and Nationwide

As the hospitality industry experiences positive growth, their business partners work with them to expand and meet their growing needs. Signature Worldwide, the leading provider of training and business solutions for hotels, hotel management companies, casinos, and other service-based organizations, has added new staff to keep up with growth in this industry. A key hire is Brian Kotula, new National Director of Sales, based in New York City.

Prior to joining Signature Worldwide, Kotula served as the Director of Sales and Corporate Marketing Manager for Open Hospitality, Vice President of Business Development and Sales-Northeastern United States, for Luxe Worldwide Hotels, and as Regional Vice President of Sales for HotelRevMAX. The New Jersey native also spent 13 years in Wall Street's financial services arena performing various operations and financial functions before he returned to New York University to earn his masters degree in Hospitality Studies and Asset Management at NYU’s Tisch Center for Hospitality, Travel, Tourism and Sports Management.

Having a unique background in hospitality and finance, Kotula is a valuable consultant for hotel owners and operators. "Hotels need to show a positive return on investment for their training dollars," said Brian Kotula. "I chose to work with Signature Worldwide because they provide excellent training programs and are committed to driving measurable results for their customers."

Signature Worldwide began in 1986 training hotel employees to improve customer service levels, increase RevPAR, raise occupancy levels and ultimately generate more revenue for hospitality clients. Over the past 25 years, they have expanded their industry expertise to multifamily and public housing, equipment, trucking, party and event rentals, senior living and in 2010 introduced social media training.

"Signature Worldwide can help to improve the customer experience in hotels significantly," said Brian Kotula. "Now I am able to help hotels, hotel management companies, and casinos see the improvement not only for their customers, but also in their RevPar, occupancy, and revenue."

Kotula is an active member and past president (2002-04) of the HSMAI (Hospitality, Sales, and Marketing Association International) Big Apple chapter. HSMAI is the industry champion in identifying and communicating trends in the hospitality industry, while operating as a leading voice for both hospitality and sales and marketing management disciplines. He has also served as a member of MAPTA, Metropolitan Association of Professional Travel Agents.
