Kathleen Ross has joined Healthy Companies International to serve as Executive Vice President, Leadership Development. In this role she is responsible growing the leadership development practice by overseeing the design, development and delivery of effective leadership development programs within client companies.
Ross most recently held the position of Chief Human Resource Officer at IPM Global (global women’s health).
“Kathie is a long-standing and well-respected member of the human resources community and brings with her an extensive background in designing and executing strategic talent and leadership development initiatives,” said Stephen Parker, President of Healthy Companies International. “She has worked in a variety of settings, including start-ups, IPOs and mergers/acquisitions in the private sector, as well in not for profit organizations.”
Throughout her career, Ross has worked closely with CEOs and executive teams in effectively linking talent strategies and leadership development initiatives with key business objectives. Further experience includes serving such diverse organizations as Arbitron Inc. (audience measurement), Chevy Chase Bank, and The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA – a membership organization for consumer owned electrical cooperatives), and the Student Loan Marketing Association (Sallie Mae).
She earned her PhD in Organizational Behavior and Development from the business school at GWU where she serves as adjunct faculty. A thought leader in the strategic talent arena, Kathie is a recent chair of HR – People & Strategy (HRPS).
Ross resides in Arlington, Virginia.
