Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) March 08, 2012
Today enterprise deployment best practices are based on service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles and a flexible, highly capable enterprise service bus (ESB) that can cater to diverse business requirements. WSO2 will present a free webinar on how IT professionals can use the WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus to take a highly configuration-driven approach to deployment that facilitates maintenance and growth.
The one-hour WSO2 technical webinar entitled, “Think BIG, Spend Small: A Look at How WSO2 Can Help Scale Up with Less Cost,” is being held twice on Wednesday, March 14: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. PST for the Americas and 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. GMT for Europe and Asia-Pacific. The webinar will explore how IT architects and developers can adopt a configuration-driven model for enterprise deployments using the WSO2 ESB. The session also will examine how the WSO2 Carbon enterprise middleware platform optimizes deployment customization while minimizing the costs and demands on resources. Additionally, the webinar will present an end-to-end configuration scenario to demonstrate how the WSO2 ESB seamlessly integrates with other products of the WSO2 middleware platform.
Webinar topics will include:
· A review of several well identified patterns and solutions.
· An overview of best practices and key factors to consider when designing a solution.
· A discussion of how different quality of service (QoS) requirements, such as security, throttling and scalability, can be addressed in different network environments.
· A demonstration of a standalone deployment and how it can be expanded into a more decentralized service-oriented one.
The webinar will be presented by Udayanga Wickramasinghe, a software engineer on the WSO2 ESB team, who has focused on developing integration solutions. He also has contributed to Carbon, WSO2’s core middleware platform. Additionally, Udayanga is a Project Management Committee (PMC) member of the Apache Synapse open source ESB project, and he has contributed to the Apache Xerces project, a collection of software libraries for parsing, validating, serializing and manipulating XML and Apache Axis2.
