The Embassy Suites Denver – Downtown/Convention Center hotel celebrated its one-year anniversary with three prestigious awards from the Embassy Suites Hotels brand. The hotel is managed by Windsor Management Services, which has cemented its reputation on service, earning multiple awards year after year.
Robert Kisabeth was awarded the 2011 Hervey Feldman General Manager of the Year distinction. This award recognizes one Embassy Suites General Manager who demonstrates outstanding leadership and superb management. In receiving the award, Kisabeth helped Windsor Management Services, the hotel management company for the property, set an unprecedented winning streak as its third consecutive General Manager to earn the brand’s highest honor.
Judy Esterbrook was named the brand’s 2011 Director of Sales of the Year in recognition of her leadership and sales excellence. Esterbrook’s numerous contributions have had a great impact on her team and toward the hotel’s success.
The Embassy Suites – Denver/Downtown Convention Center hotel also earned the 2011 Embassy Suites Sustainability Hotel of the Year Award in recognition of its commitment to environmental sustainability. This award is presented to the hotel whose sustainability efforts through energy, water and waste management, sales and community engagement made a difference in its success. The hotel was the first property within the Embassy Suites Hotels brand and the first hotel in Denver to be LEED Silver certified.

Long-standing history of award-winning employees
Windsor Management Services is proud of its award-winning employees who have long been the recipients of Embassy Suites’ highest performance awards.
For a record-setting consecutive three-year period, General Managers from hotels managed by Windsor Management Services have earned the brand’s top honor – the Hervey Feldman General Manager of the Year Award. In addition to Robert Kisabeth (Embassy Suites – Denver/Downtown Convention Center hotel) receiving the award in 2011, Russ Tanakaya at the Embassy Suites Brea - North Orange County hote l (Brea, Calif.) won the award in 2010 and Tim Billing from the Embassy Suites San Luis Obispo hotel (San Luis Obispo, Calif.) was honored in 2009. Both Tanakaya and Billing were also named to the Embassy Suites Circle of Leadership for the 2010-2011 term.
Revenue Managers Tina Rodriguez and Monica Bonifazi were recognized in 2009 and 2007, respectively, as Embassy Suites Revenue Managers of the Year. In addition, the Embassy Suites Cincinnati - Northeast (Blue Ash) hotel (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Embassy Suites Seattle – North/Lynnwood hotel (Lynnwood, Wash.) were recognized with Embassy Suites Revenue Management Awards, earning multiple awards in 2008 and 2002.
The Embassy Suites Temecula Valley Wine Country hotel (Temecula, Calif.) and Embassy Suites Santa Ana – Orange County Airport North hotel (Santa Ana, Calif.) earned SALT Improvement Awards in 2007 and 2006, respectively. The Southern California region earned the Embassy Suites Co-Op Best Marketing Award in 2010, 2009 and 2007.
In the Embassy Suites “I Can Make a Difference” award category, the Embassy Suites Atlanta – Galleria hotel (Atlanta, Ga.) earned an Honorable Mention in 2011 and was a finalist in 2010 for its innovative Festival of Trees program benefiting nonprofits in the local community. Also in 2010, the Embassy Suites Cincinnati - Northeast hotel (Blue Ash) was recognized with the Best Community Involvement Award.
Since 2005, 21 team members have earned Spirit of Embassy/Make a Difference Awards. Seven team members earned the national Catch Me at My Best Award, with winners in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
