Premium Verizon Retailer opens new store, invests in the future of local economy

We aim to provide the best customer service and make sure our customers are satisfied.

Cellular Sales, the nation’s largest Verizon premium wireless retailer recently announced the grand opening of a new store at 2290 Bristol Rd., in Bensalem.

“We aim to provide the best customer service and make sure our customers are satisfied,” said Buddy Lucas, regional director of Cellular Sales. “Our new store in the Bensalem area is an example of our success in fulfilling our customers’ needs.”

Cellular Sales was founded in Knoxville, Tenn. 19 years ago and has, for the past four years, been named by Inc. Magazine one of the nation’s fastest growing privately-owned retailers. In 2011, Cellular Sales ranked among the nation’s 75 fastest growing retailers in the Inc. 5000. The company currently operates 13 retail locations in Pennsylvania and nearly 500 stores across the U.S.

The new store is seeking to fill eight sales consultant positions with local job-seekers from the Bensalem area.

According to Lucas, the wireless retail store’s opening will provide a boost to the local economy not only by the creation of new sales positions but also because Cellular Sales’ employees nationwide average over $51,000 a year, a sum higher than the U.S. median household income.

“Cellular Sales is committed to providing superior wireless services,” he said. “We not only want to contribute our products and services to the community, but also to provide community members with employment opportunities as motivated sales professionals.”
