Tarsala brings substantial experience as a financial analyst and writer. Prior to joining Covestor, he was an on-air markets analyst for Reuters in New York, and has led three fundamental and technical research teams, including Thomson Reuters Proprietary Research.
Tarsala was integral in launching BriefingTrader, a real-time equity trading and asset allocation ideas service in Chicago. He has won multiple awards as an equity columnist and reporter for CBS MarketWatch in San Francisco, and has also written for Reuters News, Investor's Business Daily, and several other national publications.
In his new role, Tarsala reports to Mick Weinstein, Covestor's Content Director who is the former Editor-in-Chief of Seeking Alpha. He will collaborate with Covestor Model Managers to generate timely content around their opinions, strategies and activities.
