Hershey Cause is honored to be chosen as a 'Best for the Community' leader.

Hershey Cause is honored to be chosen as a ‘Best for the Community’ leader in B Lab/B Corporation’s first ‘Best for the World’ list of the most socially and environmentally responsible businesses. Hershey Cause was recognized with a score two-times higher than the average score of the 2,000 other noted B Corporation businesses, putting Hershey Cause in the top 10% of all Certified B Corporations.

Corporations must complete an extensive independent assessment analyzing social and environmental corporate impacts in order to become a Certified B Corporation. Dedicated to meeting the collective call to action, B Corporations meet higher standards of accountability, transparency and social and environmental performance. B Lab co founder, Jay Coen Gilbert, the nonprofit organization that certifies B Corporations, called companies on the list as “leading a global movement to redefine success in business.”

‘Best for the World’ list is included in the 2012 B Corp Annual Report, released by B Lab.

Hershey Cause President, R. Christine Hershey said, “As an early contributor and consistent voice in the field of integrated communications, we work at the intersection of corporate, philanthropic and government sectors to create real and sustainable social change every day. We are honored to be recognized for our commitment to conduct business in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.”
