Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., one of the world’s largest insurance brokerage and risk management services firms, recently distributed partial premium refunds to QHR client hospitals enrolled in Gallagher’s insurance program. Since this unique risk management program’s inception in 2007, participating QHR client hospitals received returned premiums each year. This program has resulted in clients receiving over $11 million in premium returns.
“Even in these challenging times, hospitals must have the financial security and underwriting capacity provided by a professional liability insurance plan,” explained Joan Signorille, President of Quorum Purchasing Advantage. “As a SSP of Quorum, Gallagher provides QHR client hospitals with access to a plan that protects against liability while offering potential cash back when the group meets its risk management goals.”
“These refunds are a testament to the value available to QHR clients through our Strategic Service Partner Program,” said QHR President and CEO James L. Horrar. “We are thrilled to see our client hospitals benefit year after year from our partnership with Gallagher.”
As QHR’s group purchasing organization, Quorum Purchasing Advantage has developed relationships with over 100 industry leading vendors to provide savings to QHR client hospitals, in addition to membership in HealthTrust Purchasing Group for discounted supply purchases.
