Springfield, Mo. – 2012 Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul will tour Convoy of Hope’s World Distribution Center in Springfield, Mo., Saturday, March 10. Paul will tour Convoy of Hope’s 300,000-square-foot warehouse before attending a scheduled campaign rally.
Convoy of Hope has served more than 50 million people worldwide since its foundation in 1994 and currently has more than 100,000 children in seven countries enrolled in its children’s feeding initiatives. Convoy of Hope will launch The Convoy of Hope, a 50-state, $50 million, two-year tour on May 12 in Dallas, uniting communities nationwide to offer immediate and long-term local solutions to their neighbors in poverty. Some 46 million Americans currently live in poverty, the largest number on record (Associated Press, 2011).
