Releases new version on iPhone, Android & Web with micro-blogging and advanced sharing options

Streamzoo, the winner of “2011 Best App Ever” in the Android photo sharing category, announced v2.3 release of their cross-platform photo-sharing application. After receiving a flurry of suggestions from loyal users, the popular photo-sharing app delivered and incorporated what users wanted most in this latest release.

Available today in the Android Marketplace and the iPhone app store, users who download v2.3 will notice they have the ability to write more in their photo descriptions. There is now a 100-character limit for the title and a 1000-character limit for the description. Streamzoo calls this as a way to use the app for “micro/photo-blogging” so that users can tell a short story about the photo they are sharing on the go. With the ability to say more about the photos being uploaded, users are now also able to share and upload their photos to Flickr along with the already existing Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. As users continue to play around with the app, they will notice improvements made to the Feed and Gallery designs to make the user experience more enjoyable and pleasing to the eyes.

“Our users heavily influenced the new changes in the v2.3 release”, said Ram Ramkumar, CEO & Co-founder of Streamzoo, “While the photo-sharing space is crowded and has large players like Instagram and Path, Streamzoo differentiates by continuing to innovate and deliver on our core vision of providing the best app to allow users to share life experiences via mobile photos. Our execution is validated by strong user growth on Android, iPhone and web platforms”
